How does it work?

Are the results immediate?
Yes, the results are visible immediately, and the treatment will continue to work for up to 2 weeks.

Is there any downtime?
No, you can continue your day as normal after your treatment, however sometimes the skin on the buttocks may be red and on very rare occasions may slightly bruised. We always recommend speaking to a member of our experienced team if you have any concerns about body contouring at all.
What areas can be treated with Body Contouring?
The treatment can be performed on the bum, tummy, thigh gap and areas of the back.
Can I have Body Contouring treatment if I am pregnant?
No. It is not advised to have body contouring treatment if you are pregnant.
Can I have just 1 treatment of Body Contouring?
Yes you can, however, you will not see the full results after just one treatment. Speak to the Black Ivy Aesthetics team about their recommendations for what you are trying to achieve.
What results will I get from Body Contouring?
The area treated will look and feel firmer, our experienced provider can concentrate on certain problem areas which are a concern to you and in turn remove stubborn cellulite.
How many sessions of Body Contouring will I need?
At Black Ivy Aesthetics, we recommend a course of 5 treatments performed weekly. Then a maintenance treatment every 8-10 weeks after.
How long do I have to wait between treatments?
For the best results from Body Contouring, you should wait a minimum of 7 days between treatments.
Does Body Contouring Hurt?
The treatment should be completely painless.
Do I need to exercise and diet?
We strongly recommend that you exercise and eat well throughout your Body Contouring course to excel your results. However, you will still see results if you choose not to.
Should I book a course?
Yes! We recommend a course of 5 treatments for optimum results. Any cellulite removal and skin tightening can be permanent if you follow the advised aftercare. If you want to maintain the lift and volume, Body Contouring Maintenance Appointments are required every 6-8 weeks.
