Ben Copsey

Ben has worked for the NHS since 2004. Starting his journey with the London Ambulance Service he became a Paramedic in 2012 and continued his studies obtaining his honours degree in pre-hospital care with Greenwich University. Having left London, Ben then started working for South East Coast Ambulance Service as a paramedic Practitioner whilst also studying part time towards a Masters degree in Advanced Clinical practice which was achieved with London South Bank University. Using his skills, knowledge and experience, Ben has gone on to work in many other various locations with the NHS providing both Emergency and Urgent Care in and around hospitals and Treatment centres around Essex, Kent and London.

Having worked within a GP surgery in Cornwall, Ben then set up a Microsuction clinic back home in Essex in 2019 where its continued success enabled him to open up Black Ivy with Emma in 2022. Having undertaken extensive training and continuous professional development (CPD) Ben has seen over 5000 clients, restoring hearing to many whilst also providing a safe and knowledgeable experience in the process.

Ben is also the clinic's Independent prescriber which gives him the ability to prescribe medication that may be required post-ear examination or for clients that are undertaking certain aesthetic procedures.
